Direttissima, an Italian word in mountaineering vernacular meaning "most direct route to the top". We created a division/focus within our company that focuses on the Climbing and Guiding Communities and Industry, fueled by passion of the ownership.
The owner of Full Circle, Lance Johnson enjoys rock and ice climbing, mountaineering, backcountry skiing and ultra-endurance mountain racing. Outdoor human powered mountain sports has been Lance's lifetime personal interest and passion, stemming both from an upbringing of many outdoor activities, and watching one Saturday morning episode of Wild World of Sports in the late 1970's featuring legendary Jeff Lowe's ice climbing first ascent of Telluride, Colorado's Bridal Veil Falls. Lance has rock climbed in many destinations in the US and Mexico, and has many excursions for ice climbing and mountaineering including Mt. Rainier, Denali (Mt. McKinley), Valdez Alaska, New Zealand and Peru. As an mountain endurance runner and participant in ultra-marathon 100 mile endurance races, Lance has finishes in the Leadville 100 in Colorado, the Crown King 50 in Arizona, the Kepler Challenge 60K in New Zealand, and four finishes at the Hardrock 100 in Silverton Colorado. As a volunteer, Lance is a rope technician on the Albuquerque Mountain Rescue team.
Direttssima provides marketing services for the American Mountain Guide Association, the Certified Guides Cooperative, and a number of mountain guiding companies and individual certified guides. In addition to providing marketing services to the Outdoor/Climbing/Guiding industry, we market and operate Bradley Alpinist LLC, and The Mountain Guide Bureau, both created out of the Direttissima endeavor: Bradley Alpinist is a purveryor of specialized and hard to find equipment for Alpinism. The Mountain Guide Bureau is world-wide directory of Certifed Mountain
Guides, and Guiding Companies, purposed to provide marketing services
for Guides and Guiding Companies, as well a service to the community
of users of guided outings. Potential clients of guiding can use
the site's search functionality to locate a guide in by discipline,
guided destination, base location, or certification. Guides and
Guiding Companies use the site to feature a profile of their specific
services and expertise. All services provided by the site are free
of charge, and made available by financial and technical support
from Bradley Alpinist / Direttissima Marketing. |
